Christian Responsibility – Teach the Gospel

Because our Christian responsibility is to teach the gospel to the lost. Jesus said “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15,16. So, we do not need to be unkind or offensive, but we do need to preach the gospel plainly, boldly, and fully. Always speak truth in love.

Christian Responsibility – Speak Truth

Many of our neighbors have been taught that one does not have to be baptized to be saved. This is false doctrine. Acts 2:38. We have the responsibility to speak truth. Many of our neighbors have been told “once saved always saved.” This is False doctrine. 1 Corinthians 10:12. We have the responsibility to speak truth. Many of our neighbors have been assured that the Lord has many churches. This is false doctrine. Matthew 16:18, Ephesians 1:22 and Colossians 1:18.  We do have the obligation and responsibility to speak truth to teach them and warn them. The first-century church did not wink at false doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:1-4. Therefore, always speak truth in love.

Christian Responsibility – Teach

It must be noted that within the New Testament, many times there were only one person being taught. Although Jesus sometimes spoke to multitudes, he met individually with Nicodemus and said, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” John 3:5. Phillip was doing a great work in Samaria. Acts 8:12. But an angel of the Lord directed him to meet a “man of Ethiopia.” Acts 8:26-27. Phillip joined the Ethiopian eunuch and “preached unto him Jesus”, Acts 8:35. As a result, Philip baptized the eunuch, and he went on his way rejoicing. Acts 8:38-39.

Hence, Ananias came to Saul, who had been a persecutor of Christians, and urged him, saying “And now why wait,” Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. Acts 22:16. As a result, in each case there was a meeting with an individual, an individual was taught, and an individual obeyed the gospel. There is a place for great meetings with multiple conversions, Acts 2:41, but we should first never overlook the opportunity to lead one soul to Christ.

Simple Steps to become a Christian (Saved)

ONE: First of all, John 8:24 Jesus said you must believe that He is the Christ the Son of the living God.

TWO: Also, Luke 13:3 Jesus said you must repent of your sins.

THREE: Finally, Mark 16:16 Jesus said you must be baptized.

Therefore, Do these and go to heaven or Don’t do these and spend eternity in hell. Most of all, this is Your Decision, Choose Wisely.
