Free Moral Agent to Obey or Not
Obey – Adam and Eve did not obey. God placed Adam and Eve in the garden to dress and to keep it. But Adam and Eve were free moral agents, and they had the right to choose what they wanted to do. God told them, but they still made the decision to do what they wanted to do.
They made the wrong decision that cost them their soul, for God said don’t eat or touch. But they did. In Genesis 3:1-21.
Free Moral Agent to Choose Heaven or Hell
In Matthew 8:23-27 And when He had entered into the ship, his disciples followed him. And, behold, there arose a great storm in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marveled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?
The wind and the sea obeyed him, because he had the power to calm the wind and the sea, but Jesus wants us to believe in him and to obey his commands. We are free moral agents, we have the power within us to obey or disobey.
You must Obey the Lord to get to Heaven
We can refuse him, and many do, but why? Jesus offers salvation from sin and the hope of eternal life beyond this one. If you have not obeyed Jesus by being born again of the water and the Spirit, what are you waiting for? John 3:3-5.

YOU MUST DO THESE THINGS to Become a Christian
Becoming a Christian, Saved, Born Again, In Christ, or becoming a new creature all talk about salvation.
1) You must believe and confess that Jesus is the son of God. John 8:24 Jesus said you must believe that He is the Christ the Son of the living God. Matthew 10:32-33, Acts 8:36-37 further tells us to confess that Jesus is God’s son.
2) Luke 13:3 Jesus said you must repent of your sins.
3) Mark 16:16 Jesus said you must be baptized.
4) Live faithfully unto death. 1 John 1:2
Therefore, as a new creature, a Christian, we will live faithfully unto death and then arise to live forever with God. In conclusion, this is the God who loves you, who wants you to be his child. You can become the child of a King!
Won’t you heed His word?
