What Kind are we Sowing?

In Genesis 2:11,12 “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth.  And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: And God saw that it was good.”

Be Not Deceived

The fact that God said, “The seed is in itself.” This is still true today in everything that we know of. If it is planting a garden, planting a tree seed, or in religious circles, this fact is still true. The apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”  It probably does not make a big difference as to what we sow in our garden, but it makes a big difference in what we teach in religious circles.  (Remember: Be not deceived.) What kind of seed are we sowing? The pod we are sowing, will it make our faith stronger in God, and His word in directing us, or will it weaken our faith?

Sow the Seed of Jesus 

In following the teachings of the Bible and in the words of Jesus, He promised to build His church.  In Matthew 16:18 “I will build My church.” Who’s church is it? Who purchased it with His blood?  Who is the head of the church?  What foundation does the church rest upon?  THE ANSWER TO ALL THESE QUESTIONS, IS JESUS.  How many churches did Jesus purchase with His own blood?  What does the Bible say?  JUST ONE.

We must remember, that the seed that we are sowing will produce after its kind.  If we sow the seeds of denominationalism, we will just be a member of some man made denomination.

Who has sown the seed of discourse that exist today?  Jesus spoke of this in Matthew 13:24-30, when Jesus said that the enemy has done this.

If the church today does not wear His name, teach the doctrine that He taught, teach the plan of salvation that He taught and does not worship as His word directs, then it is not the church that He built.

This is something that is serious, we ask in love: Just study and see if these things are true.
