GODS PLAN

Did you know that Gods Plan for salvation, the church and for worship is all spelled out in the Bible? Well it is, and below is a template that you can use to explain these things to others.

GODS PLAN OF SALVATION

One must:

Above all, BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. John 8:24

Also, Turn from their sin, and REPENT. Luke 13:3 – Acts 17:30

Finally, CONFESS their faith in Jesus Christ. Acts 8:36-38

 

BAPTIZED into Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. 

Due to the God’s word “He that believes and is baptized shall be saved.” Mark 16:15-16

Then, the Bible says   “Repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins.” Acts 2:38

Thirdly the Bible says “Arise and be baptized and wash away your sins.” Acts 22:16

Finally the Bible says “We are buried with Him in baptism, raised to a new life.” Romans 6:3-4

GODS PLAN FOR THE CHURCH

First in Matthew 16:16-19 Jesus said I will build my church. He built only one church. Then in Romans 16:16 Churches of Christ salute you. Thirdly, Ephesians 1:22,23 Christ is the head of His church, it is His body. Also, Colossians 1:18 Christ is the head of His body, which is His church. Then again, Acts 20:28 Christ purchased His church with His own blood. Continuing, Acts 2:47 Christ adds the saved to His church. Then, After baptism. Acts 2:41.

GODS PLAN FOR WORSHIP IN HIS CHURCH

EPHESIANS 5:19 Sing and make melody in your heart. No instruments of music. God commanded us just to sing. Colossians 3:16. 1 Corinthians 10:16 We observe the Lord’s Supper each Sunday. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. Mark 16:15 Preaching the gospel to the lost world. Also, 2 Timothy 4:2.

YOU MUST DO THESE THINGS to Become a Christian

Becoming a Christian, Saved, Born Again, In Christ, or becoming a new creature all talk about salvation. 

1) You must believe and confess that Jesus is the son of God. John 8:24 Jesus said you must believe that He is the Christ the Son of the living God. Matthew 10:32-33, Acts 8:36-37 further tells us to confess that Jesus is God’s son.

2) Luke 13:3 Jesus said you must repent of your sins.

3) Mark 16:16 Jesus said you must be baptized.

4) Live faithfully unto death. 1 John 1:2

Therefore, as a new creature, a Christian, we will live faithfully unto death and then arise to live forever with God. In conclusion, this is the God who loves you, who wants you to be his child. You can become the child of a King!
