Only One Gospel

There is but one gospel that can save. All others are counterfeit and lead to being accursed (Galatians 1:6-9). Be careful what you listen to and what you believe. False hope is cruel.

Galatians 2:20-21 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if justification were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.

There is no gospel but the one gospel of Christ. One cannot be saved by believing in other faiths or other gospels. One cannot earn his salvation by keeping the old Law of Moses. We are now under faith in Christ and no longer under the Law (Galatians 3:23-25). Nor are we under the modern, man-made substitutes for the gospel. Anything God hasn’t planted will be uprooted (Matthew 15:13); there is no reason to put faith in them.

We Must Our Stand for the Only True Gospel

Paul knew his one gospel was the right and only one. “For I would have you know, brothers, that the one gospel that was preached by me is not man’s gospel. For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ” (Galatians 1:11-12).

We should not be ashamed to say we can know and be blessed by the only true one gospel. This is not arrogance; it is trust. Nor should we be ashamed to be crucified with Christ and allow Christ to live in our lives. Faith in the one who loves us and gave Himself for us is no small thing. Those who count us arrogant do not understand what they are missing. Rather than shrink from a shame imposed on us by those who are ignorant, let us rejoice in our faith!

Just as Paul took a stand against Peter for his hypocrisy, so we must take our stand for our faith without shame or embarrassment.

YOU MUST DO THESE THINGS to Become a Christian

Becoming a Christian, Saved, Born Again, In Christ, or becoming a new creature all talk about salvation. 

1) You must believe and confess that Jesus is the son of God. John 8:24 Jesus said you must believe that He is the Christ the Son of the living God. Matthew 10:32-33, Acts 8:36-37 further tells us to confess that Jesus is God’s son.

2) Luke 13:3 Jesus said you must repent of your sins.

3) Mark 16:16 Jesus said you must be baptized.

4) Live faithfully unto death. 1 John 1:2

Therefore, as a new creature, a Christian, we will live faithfully unto death and then arise to live forever with God. In conclusion, this is the God who loves you, who wants you to be his child. You can become the child of a King!
