Soul Winning
Soul Winning
Soul winning, is this not what Jesus wanted us to do? Sure, it is! But are we doing what Jesus wanted us to do?
This soul winning is teaching the gospel by one individual to another. Philip was called away of a “great revival” in Samaria just to speak to ONE. This is recorded in Acts 8:26-40.
You may influence your loved one with a powerful example, but sinners are won to Christ by someone who is willing to bring them to the Master, as Simon did. (John 1:41) Yes, John preached, but those who heard him followed Christ. John 1:37. It was because John pointed to Christ and declared that He was the “Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world.” John 1:29.
Soul Winning – One Person at a Time
The emphasis has always been on the individual. God loves us, not by mass, but one by one. Christ does not save us in groups, lots or numbers, but just one by one. The Bible is one book, read by one at a time. There is one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God, one gospel, one church, one motive, one heaven and one hell.
I often wonder, if we believe that those who do not obey Jesus in what He has commanded, that they are going to be saved anyway? Where did we get that idea? Is it just because they are people that we know or that we love? What does the Bible say? 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 says that those who do not obey the gospel will be eternally lost in hell, forever.
Jesus came to seek and save the lost. But to be saved is to do what He has commanded. As a result, Preach the gospel to every creature and he that believes and is baptized shall be saved. Mark 16:16. What are we doing with the gospel that has been given to us?

YOU MUST DO THESE THINGS to Become a Christian
Becoming a Christian, Saved, Born Again, In Christ, or becoming a new creature all talk about salvation.
1) You must believe and confess that Jesus is the son of God. John 8:24 Jesus said you must believe that He is the Christ the Son of the living God. Matthew 10:32-33, Acts 8:36-37 further tells us to confess that Jesus is God’s son.
2) Luke 13:3 Jesus said you must repent of your sins.
3) Mark 16:16 Jesus said you must be baptized.
4) Live faithfully unto death. 1 John 1:2
Therefore, as a new creature, a Christian, we will live faithfully unto death and then arise to live forever with God. In conclusion, this is the God who loves you, who wants you to be his child. You can become the child of a King!
Won’t you heed His word?
