The Blessings of Righteous Living
We receive blessings from God every day from our righteous living. In James 1:17 it reads Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
First of all: Count your blessings, not your crosses.
Count your gains, not your losses.
Also: Count your joy, not your woes.
Count your friends, not your foes.
Another: Count your smiles, not your tears.
Count your courage, not your fears.
Furthermore: Count your full years, not your lean.
Count your kind deeds, not your mean.
Also: Count your health, not your wealth.
Finally: Count on God, not on yourself.
Blessings – God Provides, We Have to Except Them
From the text: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above. That perfect gift is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus came into this world to save sinners. Luke 19:10. God wants everyone to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4 God wants us to hear His Son, and to obey His commands. Mark 16:16 Jesus said; He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. Jesus saves us from our sins, when we are baptized into His death, and arise to walk in a new life. Romans 6:3-4 If you have not obeyed, why not do it while you have time.
Because life is fleeting, meaning we are only here for a short while. Yet, we have the opportunity to live eternally with the Father in heaven if we accept Jesus as our savior and that He is the son of God and are Baptized then live faithfully until death. Opposite of that, if you don’t follow His Word you will live for eternity with the devil in hell. Choices are important. Blessings; Therefore, God has provided the way to live with Him for eternity. All we have to do is follow His word.

YOU MUST DO THESE THINGS to Become a Christian
Becoming a Christian, Saved, Born Again, In Christ, or becoming a new creature all talk about salvation.
1) You must believe and confess that Jesus is the son of God. John 8:24 Jesus said you must believe that He is the Christ the Son of the living God. Matthew 10:32-33, Acts 8:36-37 further tells us to confess that Jesus is God’s son.
2) Luke 13:3 Jesus said you must repent of your sins.
3) Mark 16:16 Jesus said you must be baptized.
4) Live faithfully unto death. 1 John 1:2
Therefore, as a new creature, a Christian, we will live faithfully unto death and then arise to live forever with God. In conclusion, this is the God who loves you, who wants you to be his child. You can become the child of a King!
Won’t you heed His word?
