Blessings

James 1:17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

One- Count your blessings, not your crosses.

Two- Count your gains, not your losses.

Three- Count your joy, not your woes.

Four- Count your friends, not your foes.

Five- Count your smiles, not your tears.

Six- Count your courage, not your fears.

Seven- Count your full years, not your lean.

Eight- Count your kind deeds, not your mean.

Nine- Count your health, not your wealth.

Ten- Count on God, not on yourself.

Blessings are Gifts from God

From the text: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above. That perfect gift is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus came into this world to save sinners. Luke 19:10. God wants everyone to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4. God wants us to hear His Son, and to obey His commands. Mark 16:16 Jesus said; He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. Jesus saves us from our sins, when we are baptized into His death, and arise to walk in a new life. Romans 6:3-4. If you have not obeyed, why not do it while you have time.

YOU MUST DO THESE THINGS to Become a Christian

Becoming a Christian, Saved, Born Again, In Christ, or becoming a new creature all talk about salvation. 

1) You must believe and confess that Jesus is the son of God. John 8:24 Jesus said you must believe that He is the Christ the Son of the living God. Matthew 10:32-33, Acts 8:36-37 further tells us to confess that Jesus is God’s son.

2) Luke 13:3 Jesus said you must repent of your sins.

3) Mark 16:16 Jesus said you must be baptized.

4) Live faithfully unto death. 1 John 1:2

Therefore, as a new creature, a Christian, we will live faithfully unto death and then arise to live forever with God. In conclusion, this is the God who loves you, who wants you to be his child. You can become the child of a King!
