God Has Promised many thing to Us. Will God Keep His Promises That He Has Made To Us?

If the answer is YES, why have we not obeyed and lived for Him? God has PROMISED. There are hundreds of promises that God has made, and He has never failed to do what He said He would do.

Back in the Old Testament in the book of 1 Kings 8:56, Blessed be the Lord, that has given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there has not failed one word of all his good promises, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant. God promised to free Israel from the 430 years of bondage in Egypt. Did he keep his promise? Sure, he did. God promised to destroy the world by flood, and God kept his promise.

Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having the promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

God promised through his Son that he would build his church. Did he do that? Sure, he did, for Jesus said; “Upon this rock I will build my church.” Matthew 16:18.

God Promised Salvation IF We Obey Him

Jesus promised salvation to all would believe that he (Jesus), was the Son of God. John 20:31. Furthermore He (Jesus) preached that all must repent or be punished with eternal fire. Luke 3:13. Jesus also commanded that all must confess their faith in Jesus as the Son of God. Matthew 10:32. Also, Jesus promised, he that believes and is baptized shall be saved. Mark 16:16. Do you believe in Jesus as the Christ the Son of God? If the answer is YES, why have you not obeyed?

After one obeyed the gospel of Christ, he is added to the church that Jesus built. He is now a child of God and has the promise of heaven when this life is over. Revelation 2:10 “Be faithful unto death and I will give to you, eternal life. Now there is the promise, and God will always keep his promise.

Believe in Him, trust Him, He will never, ever, leave you.

YOU MUST DO THESE THINGS to Become a Christian

Becoming a Christian, Saved, Born Again, In Christ, or becoming a new creature all talk about salvation. 

1) You must believe and confess that Jesus is the son of God. John 8:24 Jesus said you must believe that He is the Christ the Son of the living God. Matthew 10:32-33, Acts 8:36-37 further tells us to confess that Jesus is God’s son.

2) Luke 13:3 Jesus said you must repent of your sins.

3) Mark 16:16 Jesus said you must be baptized.

4) Live faithfully unto death. 1 John 1:2

Therefore, as a new creature, a Christian, we will live faithfully unto death and then arise to live forever with God. In conclusion, this is the God who loves you, who wants you to be his child. You can become the child of a King!
